Director Of Physician Relations

The Director of Physician Relations leads a team responsible for developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships between Stamford Health (SH) and physicians and other caregivers in the community, allowing SH and its physicians to better care for the communities they serve. The Director's work will result in high levels of physician satisfaction, increased engagement and alignment with SH, and strong network integrity. The Director will take a data-driven approach to managing the physician network, working closely with other SH departments. The Director also serves as a partner in physician recruitment efforts in line with organizational priorities. The Director reports to the Executive Director, Strategy & Business Development, and works closely with members of the leadership team including the President & CEO, Senior VP, Strategy & Marketing, the Chief Physician Executive, the Senior VP of Quality, and others.

Required Skills

• Master's Degree Required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales or outreach field, ideally related to physicians.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is highly preferred.

Required Experience

• Strong communication/listening, planning, analytical/technical skills, and solid business acumen are required
• Demonstrated results mentoring and developing a team with diverse backgrounds, over and above resolving day-to-day problems related to the supervision of employees (e.g., assigning and distributing work, resolving technical or administrative problems requiring training in a specific discipline, handling HR matters, etc.)
