What You'll Do:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients, including those with sepsis, cellulitis, DVT/PE, CHF, COPD, COVID, and PNA
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes promptly
• Manage Wound Vac systems, JP drains, and other invasive devices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RT, PT, OT, and specialists
• Document patient care accurately utilizing Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Float as needed within the unit and other Med/Surg units in the hospital
• Pass an EKG competency exam prior to start date

What You Need:

• Valid RN license in Louisiana (or appropriate state)
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Skills: Wound care, IV management, hemodialysis catheter care, pain management, and support for complex patient needs
• Ability to float across units and adapt quickly to different patient populations
