Production Specialist

Shift: 11:00 PM-7:30 AM Hourly Rate: $19.67 an hour + $2.00 shift differential Job Summary You will work a 40-hour work week with periodic scheduled overtime. Periodic overtime is planned from January to May. During June to December you will work 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Material Delivery: use electric and manual pallet jacks to deliver materials to hoists; load carts with ingredients for kettle operators; maintain paper records in accordance with food safety and quality standards. Packaging Work: form cardboard boxes and pack finished bags in correct quantity and facing; stack and arrange finished cases onto pallets; operate tape machines, printers and pallet jacks. Maintain a clean working area through good housekeeping practices. All associates will be trained in sanitation procedures to conduct periodic facility sanitation requirements. Work planned overtime days January through May. Other responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Ability to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug test. Work with a safety-first mindset to keep yourself and others safe. Interpret work instructions and safety rules. Physical Requirements Communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules. Stand on feet during working shift. Lift 40 pounds; lift 80 pounds occasionally with assistance. Repetitive arm and hand motions during working shift.
