Then this position would be for you. Job Description summary: Responsible for overseeing each aspect of a catered event from the initial planning, setup, and breakdown of the event. Directs all staff that is on each catered event. Ensures that his/her assigned events and activities are organized and executed, resulting in the complete satisfaction of the guests attending the event. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests. Actively supports the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests. Responsible for directing the entire banquet staff, by assigning duties to each associate for every event. Maintain constant contact with host during each event to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Ensures that all food and beverage items are presented and served correctly. Ensures that all relevant and applicable paperwork is filled out correctly. Preparation of the event area or room in its entirety for a function or event, prior to the guest’s arrival. Responsible for prompt, efficient and courteous service of food and beverages to guests in accordance with company policies, procedures and standards. Monitors guest needs on a continual basis ensuring all requests will be promptly fulfilled. Performs as a team member with venue hosts, supervisors, food servers, bus people and kitchen staff in producing a smooth and efficiently run operation. All other duties as assigned.
