Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a full-time, contract opportunity with a Fortune 500 healthcare company supporting MinuteClinic . Compensation

Schedule

• 32–40 hours per week
• Monday & Friday: 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Additional clinic shifts scheduled based on business needs, including every other weekend
• Some major holidays required
• Must be willing to float within a 40-mile radius of the assigned clinic when needed
• Onsite, patient-facing position

Orientation

• Mandatory attendance for the first 3 weeks
• Monday, Thursday & Friday
• 8:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• No planned time off during orientation

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a retail clinic setting.
• Assess patients and assist with care planning.
• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Monitor vital signs and document patient responses accurately.
• Obtain and document patient histories, medications, allergies, and treatments in the EMR.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, self-care, and disease management.
• Collaborate with providers and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic environment.
• Complete accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in the applicable state (or Compact License issued in the primary state of residence).
• License must be in good standing with no current or prior disciplinary actions .
• Current BLS Certification (expiration must be at least 30 days beyond the assignment start date).
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience .
• Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Department settings.
• Experience with:
• • Phlebotomy
  • Vaccine administration
  • Point-of-care testing
• Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work every other weekend, some holidays, and float to nearby clinic locations.

Please Note: Candidates whose nursing experience is limited to long-term care, skilled nursing facilities, home health, or LTAC settings will not be considered for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Epic EMR .
• Previous retail clinic or ambulatory care experience.
• Strong patient education and customer service skills.
