Contingency Staffing has a Payroll and Benefits opportunity open with their Manufacturing client in Upstate New York. This position supports the weekly payroll for 600 plus employees in a union environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the accurate and timely processing of a weekly payroll
• Data entry, timekeeping and managing deductions.
• Maintaining and updating employee records to ensure the accuracy for personal information and salary changes and generating payroll-related reports for management and audit purposes.

Support responsibilities would include:

• processing employee enrollments
• changes and terminations for benefit programs
• Educating employees about FSA & HSA plan benefits, contribution limits, and eligible expenses.
• Assisting employees with 401K enrollment and account management.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years payroll and benefits experience.
• Union experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Compensation is a base annual salary of $55,000 to $60,000 depending on experience. Relocation assistance offered. Open to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents.
