The vision of St. Anne Institute is to be the leading provider of innovative and equitable human services through the Guiding Principles of Loving, Caring and Protecting.Starting Hourly Rate: $23.00 to $27.00 (20+ hours per week)Job Description: Under the direction of the Human Resource Generalist, the human resource assistant will be responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resource Department including onboarding, file management and reporting.Responsibilities:Respond to employee inquiries and questions via email and over the phoneAssist with document management, recordkeeping and reportingAssist with onboarding including preparing paperwork, scheduling and new hire orientationCreate and maintain employee personnel files through the lifecycle of employmentComfortable taking ownership of day-to-day tasks with the support of the HR GeneralistEmployment verificationsPrepare correspondence and other documents as neededAll other duties as assigned by the HR GeneralistRequirements and Education: High school diploma required, associates or bachelor's degree preferred; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong ability to organize, prioritize and pay attention to detail; previous experience within a HR Department utilizing ADP, Kronos and Employee Navigator preferred; familiarity with OCFS, OMH and Justice Center procedure; knowledgeable in HR regulations preferred; ability to maintain confidentiality.St. Anne Institute is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation or gender identity.
