Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front-desk experience

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software

Verify patient insurance eligibility and process billing and co-pays accurately

Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance

Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and follow up on appointment reminders

Assist with optical dispensing support and frame selection coordination as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience in a medical, dental, or optometry front office setting preferred

Familiarity with insurance verification and medical billing processes

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) or practice management software

Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and record-keeping abilities

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or healthcare certification a plus
