Media Assistant - Intern

About The Role This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in marketing and business operations at InfluenConnect x Comms8. Reporting to the managers, you will support content creation, business operations, and external outreach while assisting with day‑to‑day administrative tasks. You will work closely with different teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects, contribute to marketing initiatives, and help strengthen stakeholder relationships. This role provides valuable exposure to various aspects of agency operations, with opportunities to develop new skills and make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities Content creation and editing for presentations, brochures, blogs, newsletters and social media platforms for both InfluenConnect and Comms8. Conduct research and suggest creative ideas for campaigns and projects. Manage online communities, including outreaching, responding to messages and engaging with followers. Track and consolidate marketing channel performance reports. Assist with copywriting, visual design, and video/reel editing. Keep PowerPoint decks and company materials up to date. Localize content across different languages as needed. Conduct desktop research to gather insights on industry trends, competitors, and potential clients. Consolidate research findings into reports or summaries to support decision‑making. Maintain and update client and contact databases. Support in preparing presentations and proposals for potential clients. Update website content, company directories, client logos, email signatures, and other key assets. Assist in coordinating and delivering project tasks to ensure deadlines are met. Research industry news and events to keep the team informed. Provide administrative assistance, such as organising files and updating records. Participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and taking notes as needed. Handle basic logistical tasks like scheduling or arranging meetings. Manage printing needs for the team (e.g., business cards, brochures) and coordinate with production houses. Ad hoc tasks may be assigned as needed and the tasks outlined above may not encompass all duties required in day‑to‑day operations. Requirements At least one year of relevant experience in digital marketing, content creation, or influencer marketing, with the ability to independently produce high-quality content. Proficient in both written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to efficiently manage local and international client needs. Proficiency in Chinese would be a plus. Skilled in short video editing and visual design, with experience in creating social media visuals using Canva. Familiar with major advertising tools and platforms. Knowledgeable about the Chinese social media landscape would be an advantage. Interested in influencer marketing or with prior collaboration experience in this field. Capable of independently developing content strategies, executing tasks, and conducting data analysis. Possesses a understanding of digital marketing, staying up to date with the latest industry trends.
