This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a wide range of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, ports, and mass transit. Responsibilities Design highways, roads, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, ports, and other transportation infrastructure projects. Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation to create detailed engineering plans and designs. Conduct traffic studies and analyses to evaluate traffic flow and safety, developing solutions for improvement. Prepare technical cost, safety, and sustainability reports and proposals. Communicate project blueprints and progress to stakeholders through presentations and reports. Collaborate with managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation engineering or a related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proven ability to develop creative solutions to complex engineering problems. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders. Experience with highway and roadway design and site development.
