Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus + Origination Credit

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the New Hampshire and/or Massachusetts Bar
• 5+ years of banking, finance, commercial lending, or related transactional experience
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial loan documentation
• Strong analytical, drafting, and client counseling skills
• Ability to independently manage transactions from inception through closing
• Strong attention to detail and business acumen
• Residence within approximately one hour of Manchester, NH

What You'll Do

• Represent banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions
• Structure, draft, and negotiate loan documentation, credit facilities, security agreements, and ancillary transaction documents
• Advise lenders regarding secured and unsecured financing arrangements
• Handle commercial real estate financing transactions
• Review due diligence materials, collateral packages, and corporate governance documents
• Counsel clients on loan workouts, modifications, and risk management issues
• Work closely with borrowers, lenders, accountants, and business advisors
• Participate in marketing and business development initiatives within the banking and financial services industries

• Experience representing banks, credit unions, or institutional lenders
• Background in commercial real estate finance, asset-based lending, or corporate finance
• Existing referral relationships or portable business
• Interest in growing a practice and developing client relationships within the New England market
