We are seeking a dependable Restaurant Line Cook to join our small kitchen team supporting multiple stations. The ideal candidate will have prior kitchen experience, full availability, and a passion for maintaining high food quality and safety standards. This role offers opportunities for advancement within our kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes
- Plate dishes with attention to presentation and quality
- Handle ingredients safely and maintain proper storage
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen workstations and equipment
- Control food quality and portion sizes consistently
- Operate kitchen equipment properly and safely
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in kitchen operations
- Knowledge and understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Proficient knife skills and basic cooking techniques
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
