As a therapist within our organization, you will report to the Clinical Manager and play an essential role in assisting patients to regain their strength, mobility, and independence—all from the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, direct, and deliver speech and language pathology services to patients in their homes or facilities.
• Contribute to the creation and regular evaluation of the Treatment Plan and Care Plan.
• Utilize your professional expertise to assess and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders, aiming to prevent, identify, evaluate, and mitigate the impact of these conditions.
• Administer and interpret diagnostic tests and therapeutic treatments, including audiologic screenings.
• Monitor, document, and communicate any changes in the patient's condition and their response to treatment to the supervisor and/or physician.
• Provide guidance and training to patients on the use of alternative communication systems when necessary.
• Offer support and education to patients, families, and healthcare personnel.
• Maintain and submit documentation as required by the organization or facility.
• Prepare and submit written reports of evaluations, visits, summaries, care plans, care coordination activities, and progress reports as per company policy.
• Engage in care coordination activities and assist with discharge planning.
• Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct regarding confidential information, sharing it only when the recipient's right to access is clearly established and in the patient's best interest.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of six months of experience as a speech therapist or speech-language pathologist.
• A current and unrestricted license.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in home health settings.

Compensation

Pay Range:

• $54.00 - $76.00 per visit/unit
• $85,400 - $117,500 annual base salary

Additional Information

TB Screening: This position involves direct patient interaction and is part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected, you will need to undergo TB screening.

Driving Requirements: This role is included in our driver safety program, necessitating a valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance. You must maintain insurance that meets or exceeds your state's minimum requirements, or $25,000 bodily injury per person, $25,000 bodily injury per event, and $10,000 for property damage, whichever is higher.

Pay Range

The compensation range provided reflects a good faith estimate of the starting base salary for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, education, and certifications.

$59,300 - $80,900 annually
