This position is located at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in North Fort Myers, providing a dynamic and collaborative onsite work setting. Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment to enhance patient recovery, focusing on pain relief, muscle function restoration, and disability prevention.
• Evaluate patient functionality using an array of diagnostic tests to develop tailored care plans.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure optimal treatment delivery and adherence to care protocols.
• Conduct home evaluations to assess rehabilitation needs and recommend adaptations to improve patient independence.
• Administer various therapeutic techniques such as manual exercises, traction, and massage, adapting approaches based on individual patient requirements.
• Participate in the interdisciplinary team by contributing to case conferences and the total treatment planning for clients.
• Document clinical observations, treatment progress, and patient feedback meticulously to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate and involve family members in the rehabilitation process, equipping them with knowledge about the patient's condition and therapy regimen.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure compliance with prescribed care plans and adjust treatments as necessary based on patient progress.
• Prepare clinical records including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, meeting regulatory standards for documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our clinic, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clients range from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to elderly patients requiring rehabilitation after joint replacements. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
