Manager - Rental Services Shop

Overview The Shop Manager leads all shop and field service operations for the branch, with overall responsibility for service performance, profitability, employee development, customer satisfaction, and safety. Responsibilities Lead daily service operations with accountability for profitability, quality, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction Schedule and coordinate shop work to meet time and cost targets Oversee work orders, estimates/quotes, and work‑in‑process Communicate with customers, technicians, suppliers, and management to ensure smooth operations Coach, train, and develop leadmen and technicians Assist with troubleshooting and repairs as needed Control shop expenses and meet profit and productivity goalsPromote a safe, organized work environment and meet all safety standards Support hiring, performance management, and employee development Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in diesel technology preferred 5+ years of diesel technology experience and 3+ years of customer service experience Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills Results‑driven with a strong work ethic and commitment to company values Proficient with industry‑specific systems and basic Microsoft Word and Excel #J-18808-Ljbffr MacAllister Machinery Co., Inc.
