WORK SCHEDULE Full-time Days , 100% FTE Mondays-Fridays/ 11:00am- 7:30pm On-site/No Telework POSITION HIGHLIGHTS Conveniently located near public transportation Make a difference for the patients and employees we serve Opportunity to provide career growth Primary Job Responsibilities Manage High-Volume Scheduling: Coordinate high-volume outpatient mammography screening appointments and monitor Epic queues to optimize clinic templates and minimize patient waitlists. Acquire External Imaging Records: Proactively reach out to outside healthcare facilities to request, expedite, and track historical mammography films and radiologic reports needed for clinical comparison. Process Medical Image Intake: Coordinate the technical upload and data reconciliation of external medical images and reports into the UW Medicine EMR and Radiology PACS systems Handle Release of Information (ROI) Requests: Meticulously review, prioritize, and process daily medical records requests within Epic to ensure legally compliant disclosure of protected health information (PHI). Provide Operational Cross-Coverage: Deliver scheduled administrative backup for the Emergency Department Radiology reading room, including triaging clinician phone calls and handling incoming orders Other duties as requested Requirements High school graduation or equivalent AND One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR An equivalent combination of education/experience Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration About Harborview Medical Center As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
