About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Portfolio Credit Monitoring and Analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering precise and timely portfolio reporting and analytics to support the oversight of significant credit risks. This role involves the execution, preparation, and analysis of credit performance reports, as well as the creation of credit analytics to address regulatory and internal audit requirements. The AVP will also manage various analytical projects, prepare and validate data for monthly credit risk reviews, and monitor credit risk appetite metrics. Key skills for this position include the ability to work with large data sets, proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel, and experience in project management within a regulated financial institution. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years' of experience in risk analytics within the credit card industry, or at least 6 years' in a credit risk analytics role in a regulated bank or financial institution. Essential qualifications include a strong background in SAS, SQL, and advanced Excel, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and present findings. The role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of credit reporting infrastructure, data nuances, and the ability to explain the drivers behind emerging data trends. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Python, PowerPoint, and Tableau, and be adept at working with cross-functional teams to address emerging credit risks.
