As a Security Officer Unarmed - Canyon Lake Manor Dr in Cypress, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage professionally with residents and visitors, communicate observations, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property in accordance with site procedures, verify authorized visitors and/or vendors, and maintain required activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
