As a Restaurant Server, you will provide exceptional service in a solo server environment, catering to both regular local customers and first-time visitors. Reporting directly to the owner, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience through attentive order taking, timely food serving, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere with flexible shift scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate customer orders and convey them to kitchen staff
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
• Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously
• Set up tables ensuring cleanliness and proper arrangement
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout shifts
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu to assist customers

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in food service
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficient in cash handling and basic math
• Ability to work effectively as a solo server
• Attention to detail and teamwork skills

Menu Expertise: Provide detailed descriptions of Italian dishes, ingredients, specials, wines, and cocktails; make recommendations.
Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, use POS systems, and communicate clearly with kitchen staff.
Service Delivery: Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, checking for accuracy and presentation.
Table Maintenance: Keep tables set, clean, and clear of debris between courses; pre-bus tables efficiently.
Payment Processing: Deliver checks, handle cash/cards, and process transactions accurately.
Guest Satisfaction: Anticipate needs, address concerns, and ensure a positive, memorable dining experience.
Team Collaboration: Support food runners, communicate with kitchen/bar, and work as a cohesive team.
Hygiene & Safety: Strictly follow all health, sanitation, and safety regulations
