We are looking for an Operations Supervisor for our Shippensburg, PA facility.The Operations Supervisor is responsible for effectively meeting company objectives within a Distribution Center environment, with a focus on continuous improvement of operational performance as it relates to quality, productivity, and on-time delivery. This position reports to the Distribution Center Manager.Essential responsibilitiesOversee, train, and develop a team of flexible, multi-skilled employees in accordance with NOTS Logistics values and strategic direction.Lead team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals set forth by customer and NOTS Logistics management.Assign duties and coordinate workloads to achieve facility goals including production, quality, and safety.Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on company policies, standards, and procedures.Communicate with Manager regarding facility, equipment, safety, personnel, and environmental issues to determine action to resolve.Enforce regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other state and local guidelines.Other duties as assigned by manager.Qualifications & requirementsEducation & experienceBachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related fieldOR Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a similar environmentOR Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a similar environment or Logistics/WarehousingOR Military experience equivalentSkills, abilities & physical requirementsStrong verbal and written communication skills and ability to partner with all levels of managementExcellent people skills to effectively lead and empower team membersStrong organizational and time management skillsProven ability to achieve goals and drive performance improvementsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteWorking knowledge of WMS concepts and systemsRegularly walk warehouse floors and perform light physical labor; carry up to 60 lbs occasionallyAbility to adapt to varying warehouse temperaturesFlexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends when necessaryWhat NOTS Logistics offers $60,000–$70,000 salary Bonus eligibility Medical, Dental & Vision 401k + company match Paid time off Short-term disability Life insurance Relocation assistance NOTS Logistics offers a career opportunity with family values and a path to further advancement.
