Corporate Franchise Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Corporate Franchise Associate with 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience in Los Angeles, CA. This role offers the chance to join a growing national franchise practice that emphasizes collaboration and professional development. Duties Draft and review Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and franchise agreements. Manage franchise registrations and compliance matters. Address default and termination issues within franchise relationships. Assist with mergers and acquisitions in the franchise sector. Engage in international franchise licensing transactions. Participate in dispute resolution processes. Requirements 3 to 5 years of transactional franchise experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Experience with franchise regulatory and compliance matters. Desire to learn and grow within the franchise community. Education Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of the resident office location. Skills Excellent legal research and writing abilities. Strong analytical skills. Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus. Familiarity with international franchise licensing transactions is advantageous.
