CNC Machine Operator – Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Santa Fe Springs
Pay: DOE
Schedule: 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machines, reading blueprints, and working with precision measuring instruments to produce high-quality aerospace components that meet strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to work instructions and blueprints.
Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure quality production.
Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
Make minor machine adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
Follow all aerospace quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with Quality Control and Production teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

1+ years of CNC machine operating experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using precision measuring instruments.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
Knowledge of GD&T is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of materials.
