Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Perform a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging

• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to produce accurate diagnostic images
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, promptly addressing any issues that arise
• Meticulously document procedures and keep patient records updated in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on new advancements in ultrasound technology and imaging standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus
