Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager
Location: Tempe/ Phoenix AZ USA
Pay Rate Range: $45-$70/hour on W2
Must be US Citizen (because of government project) and have Aerospace Industry Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned categories and commodities.
- Lead supplier evaluations, RFQ events, negotiations, and contract management activities.
- Analyze supplier proposals, pricing structures, market conditions, and spend data to determine fair and reasonable cost position
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to align sourcing strategies with business requirements.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and industry developments to proactively address sourcing challenges.
- Support supplier transitions and supply continuity planning.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
- Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or related purchasing functions.
- Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and sourcing strategy development.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, procurement tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of sourcing best practices, cost analysis methodologies, and supplier performance management.
Additional Information:
- Exercises independent judgment and decision-making within established policies and procedures.
- Works with limited supervision and manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reports to the Sub-Contracts Director for the assigned commodity
