Job Description

• Create Custom Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs to design personalized therapy strategies that facilitate functional recovery.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based strategies to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, integrative care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy practices to promote continuous progress at home.
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment approaches as necessary to keep patients on the path to success.

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university
• Ongoing educational opportunities and post-graduate credentials encouraged and facilitated

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
