Crown Packaging Corp. is seeking an Item Set Up/Data Entry professional to join their team! About the Company. About the Role. This detail-oriented and organized individual will accurately enter and maintain product data of new items into Crown's internal computer system to ensure timely and error-free item set up. Gather required documentation and information through research or by contacting the sales person, the customer service rep, or the supplier directly. This individual will maintain item integrity for all items in Crown's computer system and will provide support to customer service and sales on item setup inquiries.

Essential Functions:

• Research and collect information for new items
• Enter new items and check for accuracy
• Make data entry changes in Crown's computer system as needed.
• React quickly to submitted new item request forms
• Resolve item setup issues in a timely manner
• Attach required documents to the item master
• Submit proper documents for scanning purposes
• Demonstrate a proficient understanding of the computer system
• Conform to the requirements of the Quality Management System
• Respond to voicemail and email promptly
• Work collaboratively with internal and external customers and team members

Qualifications for the Job:

• 1-2 years of office experience in data entry, item set up, or product data management, or 6 months of Crown internal training, preferred.
• High school diploma required. College degree preferred
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Products

Overall we are looking for an individual who is confident, detail oriented, works well with internal partners and has the ability to handle multiple tasks in a professional manner. Experience in the packaging, logistics or distribution industry preferred but not required.
