Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License required
• Experience designing and implementing IEPs
• Comfort and skill in working with students at all grade levels
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies appreciated
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, adapt, and deliver lessons tailored to individual learning plans
• Manage a caseload of students, tracking progress and adjusting instruction as needed
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom culture that supports learning and growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Attend meetings, provide input on IEP teams, and maintain accurate educational records
• Address behavioral and academic needs with evidence-based strategies
