Hotel Front Desk Attendant

We are seeking an enthusiastic Hotel Front Desk Attendant who will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a positive and lasting impression. You will handle all aspects of a guest's stay, from check-in to check-out, while embodying our property’s vision, mission, and core values. Your multitasking skills and guest-focused mentality will be key to ensuring a seamless experience. Responsibilities Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift Operate the hotel switchboard, answer inquiries, and transfer calls as needed. Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, including groups Welcome guests warmly, determine their needs, and manage the registration process. Contact housekeeping and/or maintenance departments when a problem is reported and perform basic maintenance so as to minimize out of order rooms Qualifications Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach. Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
