Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, ARRT or RCIS, IR Experience preferred

Experience: Minimum 2 years in IR/Cath Lab environments; traveler experience not required

What You'll Do

• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Scrub, circulate, and provide support during IR, cath lab, and cardiology procedures
• Participate actively in urgent/emergent interventions, including STEMI and IR callbacks
• Ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Handle advanced procedural equipment, including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, and other specialized devices
• Adhere to safety protocols and assist with medication administration performed by RNs
• Collaborate with a team of three, including an RN, for seamless procedure delivery

What You Need

Required:

• ARRT or RCIS certification
• ACLS and BCLS certifications
• 2+ years of IR/Cath Lab experience
• Ability to assist with IR, cardiology, and vascular procedures

Preferred:

• Additional certifications such as ARRT Advanced, RCES, or specialized experience with med procedures
• EKG lead placement skills

About the Assignment This unique IR and Cardiology combo lab supports adult and geriatric patients, managing devices like PPM and ICD implants. Operating an array of advanced equipment, the lab performs diagnostic and interventional procedures with an approximate 80% IR focus. Technicians will begin directly on the unit without holiday RTO, with orientation expected to be 40 hours, including dimensions training.
