Respiratory Therapist – Dixon, IL
Direct Hire | Full-Time | Night Shift

Respiratory Therapists provide high-quality, compassionate cardiopulmonary care to patients in an acute care setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will assess, treat, and monitor patients with a wide range of respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions. Responsibilities include administering respiratory therapies, managing oxygen delivery systems, operating and monitoring mechanical ventilators, performing diagnostic procedures, responding to medical emergencies, and delivering evidence-based care to patients with both routine and critical respiratory needs.

Position Overview

• Permanent, full-time role
• Acute care setting
• Night shift
• 3 12-hour shifts per week

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary range: $31.49 – $37.05/hour
• $20,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year work commitment

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program
• Minimum of 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience in an acute care setting
• Current Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and assist with up to 100 lbs

Preferred Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
