Research Physician Investigator (Principal Investigator/Sub-Investigator) - Full Time

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Research Physician Investigator to conduct clinical trials as a principal or sub-investigator at their Minneapolis site. The role involves ensuring participant safety, protocol compliance, and data integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support trial execution and participant recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical evaluations and assessments to ensure eligible participant recruitment and safety monitoring
• Attend Site Initiation Visits, Pre-Selection Visits, and Investigator meetings as required
• Support participant recruitment and retention strategies through protocol expertise and community engagement
• Oversee investigational medical product management and multiple concurrent studies
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in recording information and source documentation

Requirements

• MD or DO degree with at least 2 years licensed physician experience
• Active, unrestricted medical license in good standing
• Valid ICH GCP certificate or ability to obtain after hire
• Strong clinical expertise and medical judgment for protocol-driven research
• Ability to collaborate across matrixed organization with multiple teams
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet applications
• Thorough understanding of medical terminology, drug safety, and lab interpretation
