Position Title: Warehouse Operations Associate(Receiver)

Location: Memphis, TN 38141

Shift: 1 st shift. Shift Rotations may be required based on business needs.

Duration: 3 Months

PR: $19/hr.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Warehouse Associate performs various warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of the Distribution Center such as receiving, sorting, stacking, picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
• The candidate will be required to be licensed on PIT equipment.
• Use forklift to unload, load, break down freight, receive, and stock.
• Use a RF scanner to pick orders as well as a computer to audit orders
• Verify products for correct item, correct lot and correct qty's and ensure damages are identified
• Operate the use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; ensure daily routine inspections are conducted. Report any unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures
• Performing housekeeping in assigned areas and following all safety rules.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• High School required
• Basic Computer and math skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Previous distribution experience is required
• Previous experience in cold chain environment a plus
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Willing to work Overtime with little or same day notice

• Intermediate Visual Acuity(operating machines, computer terminal, or work at or within arm's reach)

• Protective equipment required: Gloves, safety shoes, cold weather gear, body harness, and safety vest. Confines Spaces Shift Rotations may be required based on business needs

• Medium to Heavy lifting and carrying items
• Sitting, Walking, Standing, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
• Bending at the waist and neck (forward or sideways), reaching
• Repetitive movement of hands, and power grasping Balancing (maintaining equilibrium to prevent falling)
