Work Environment

Located in Binghamton, New York, our outpatient office fosters a collaborative, supportive work environment. You will predominantly work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you the benefit of a stable work-life balance. Our practice primarily accepts private medical insurance, enabling us to offer personalized care without the constraints of larger institutional settings. This onsite position means you will have direct access to our advanced equipment and facilities, facilitating optimal treatment effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their goals and specific rehabilitation needs.
• Develop clear, individualized care plans incorporating various treatment techniques tailored to each patient's journey.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions, seeing approximately 2-3 patients per hour, and effectively document patient care services in compliance with clinic protocols.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to aid in reducing dependency on medications and surgery, focusing on cost-effective solutions to improve movement and mobility.
• Create fitness and wellness programs that address patients' unique lifestyle factors, incorporating strength and flexibility training.
• Consistently evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective recovery trajectories.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, sharing insights and updates on patient progress for coordinated care.
• Document treatment outcomes and engage patients in their own care by motivating them throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, athletic injuries, and those seeking rehabilitation post-surgery. We focus on building long-term relationships with our clients, understanding their specific needs, and customizing treatment pathways that support their physical health and well-being. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist License in New York, with no disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating a robust understanding of treatment methodologies.
• Previous experience in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to diverse patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a full benefits package.
