Senior Attorney

Role Description The Senior Attorney will handle a full-time, on-site role based in Nashville, TN, focusing primarily on complex family law matters and related practice areas. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a caseload from intake through resolution, conducting client consultations, providing strategic legal advice, drafting and reviewing pleadings and agreements, and representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings. The role includes supervising or mentoring junior attorneys and legal support staff, overseeing legal research and case preparation, and ensuring compliance with court rules and professional standards. The Senior Attorney will collaborate with firm leadership on case strategy, participate in business development and community outreach as needed, and contribute to maintaining a high level of client service. Qualifications Strong foundation in Law with experience in family law matters and related practice areas. Ability to deliver clear, strategic Legal Advice to clients facing complex and sensitive situations. Proficiency in legal Research to support case strategy, drafting, and courtroom advocacy. Demonstrated Negotiation skills in settlements, mediations, and collaborative law settings. Active license to practice law in Tennessee; additional licenses in the Carolinas are a plus. Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant legal experience, including courtroom advocacy and motion practice. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong drafting abilities for pleadings and agreements. Proven ability to manage a busy caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
