Fund Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting professional with strong private equity expertise to manage fund accounting and financial reporting on a contract basis. This role requires a manager-level or above candidate who can hit the ground running and deliver accurate, timely results for complex private equity structures. Description Oversee fund accounting operations for private equity funds, including NAV calculations, investor allocations, and expense accruals. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Manage quarterly and annual financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors, administrators, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with internal controls and industry standards. Provide technical expertise and support to the team, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. Profile Minimum 5-8 years in fund accounting and financial reporting, with a strong focus on private equity funds. Manager or above (Senior Manager to Associate Director considered). Deep understanding of private equity structures, waterfall calculations, and partnership accounting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CFA preferred.
