Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based Opportunity

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time school-based opportunities for the upcoming school year.

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with students by providing speech and language evaluations, therapy services, and support to help students achieve academic and communication success. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Position Details

• Start Date: September 28, 2026

• Duration: 35 Weeks

• Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week

• Openings: 2

• Pay: $57/hour

• Full-Time, In-Person Position

• School-Year Contract

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Provide direct speech therapy services

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Monitor student progress and complete required documentation

• Collaborate with families, teachers, and support staff

• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and communication needs

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist License

• CCC-SLP preferred

• School-based experience preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
