Make a meaningful impact in elementary education by supporting students’ communication growth in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, full school year contract opportunity is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC), passionate about working in schools and ready to take on rewarding supervisory responsibilities. The assignment involves working with elementary-age students across campuses, managing an estimated caseload of 70-80 students per location.
In this role, you'll supervise and guide SLPAs, making a difference in staff development while directly supporting students’ academic and social success. The position is itinerant and requires a commitment to traveling between elementary campuses as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Prior schools-based experience strongly preferred
- Experience supervising or mentoring SLPAs is ideal
- Enthusiasm for collaborative, team-based school environments
- Willingness to provide support and guidance to Clinical Fellows (CFs); teletherapy-only roles are not included in this position
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of communication disorders in elementary students
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs at assigned campuses, guiding clinical practice and professional growth
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with special education teams
- Communicate with families, staff, and administrators to maximize student outcomes
- Travel between campuses as an itinerant provider as needed
