Sanford Insurance Center Inc. is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Sanford, NC.

We are seeking someone with excellent people skills who enjoys helping customers, solving problems, and building long-term relationships. Insurance experience and an active insurance license are strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated and able to obtain their insurance license.

This is a full-time, in-office position. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to our Sanford office.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage changes
• Provide outstanding customer service by phone, email, and in person
• Help process policy updates, renewals, and documentation
• Support producers and agency staff with administrative and customer service tasks
• Maintain accurate customer records and follow up promptly on requests
• Build positive relationships with both new and existing clients
• Educate customers on available insurance products and coverage options

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills are required
• Insurance license preferred or ability to obtain license required
• Previous insurance or office experience preferred
• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
• Basic computer and organizational skills
• Ability to work well with both customers and team members
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Sanford, NC daily
