The Ophthalmic Imager 2 (OI2) is competent in the theory, principles, and practice of eye care. The position documents in the EMR system and performs ocular diagnostic testing using specialized instrumentation in compliance with department standards. **CORE JOB FUNCTIONS**Performs diagnostic testing including but not limited to the below.* Color fundus photography* Fluorescein angiography* ICG (Indocyanine Green) angiography* Optical coherence tomography* Automated perimetry* Slit lamp photography* External photography* Ocular motility photography* Performs supervised ocular diagnostic testing using specialty-specific imaging instruments, documents procedures, and uploads images into the electronic medical record/PACS platform.* Provides patient-centric care.* Adheres to University of Miami policies, standards, and values.* Complies with regulations and maintains patient confidentiality.* Follows best practices of patient safety, hand hygiene, and infection control.* Completes University of Miami mandatory in-services and online training.* Attends educational courses for ophthalmic personnel when assigned.* Demonstrates high quality of work through accuracy, timeliness, professionalism, and thoroughness.* Meets daily productivity goals.
