Attorney

Corporate Attorney – $250,000 - $450,000 per year – Houston, Texas Hosted by: Anne-Laure McGrory. This is a full‑time, permanent position. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in SEC reporting, corporate governance, and a variety of legal matters related to our organization. Responsibilities Provide expert legal support and advice, including the preparation and review of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Manage all aspects of SEC reporting and compliance, including the preparation and review of quarterly and annual reports, proxy statements, and other SEC filings. Advise on corporate governance matters, including the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to handle complex legal projects and initiatives. Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including negotiations, disputes, and litigation. Stay abreast of current legislation and regulatory developments that may impact the organization, and provide timely and accurate advice to senior management. Conduct legal research and analysis as needed, providing clear and concise legal opinions. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in the state. Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney, preferably in corporate or securities law. Extensive experience with SEC reporting and compliance. Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and practices. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication at all organizational levels. High integrity and professional ethics. Proficiency with legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
