This is a strategic leadership position responsible for driving business growth, developing client relationships, leading engineering teams, and overseeing the successful execution of projects. The Director will serve as a Principal in Charge (PIC) for key clients while also functioning as a Senior Project Manager on select projects. This role offers the opportunity to shape the firm's long-term vision, mentor engineering staff, and influence company-wide initiatives. Key Responsibilities:Provide executive leadership and contribute to the firm's strategic planning and long-term vision.Serve as Principal in Charge (PIC) for key client accounts and develop new business opportunities.Build and maintain strong client relationships while leading capture plans and proposal efforts.Lead and mentor engineering managers, team leaders, and technical staff.Allocate engineering resources to support project workloads and staffing needs.Oversee project profitability, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC), and operational performance.Supervise hiring, performance evaluations, professional development, compensation recommendations, and employee growth initiatives.Manage select projects as a Senior Project Manager while ensuring client satisfaction and project success.Participate in Executive Leadership and Leadership Council meetings to support company growth and operational excellence. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution.Professional Engineering license (or applicable discipline license) required.Demonstrated leadership experience within an MEP consulting engineering environment.Proven experience managing engineering teams, project managers, and technical staff.Strong business development, client relationship management, and strategic planning experience.Experience overseeing staffing, resource allocation, project profitability, and operational performance.Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
