FT Master Level Therapist

Valle Vista Health System is a 132-bed acute care psychiatric hospital located in Greenwood, IN. The facility offers inpatient acute psychiatric care and a variety of outpatient services. The hospital is a teaching facility supporting nursing students and behavioral health professionals. Position Summary The Inpatient Therapist provides professional mental health care and case management for assigned patients. The therapist works closely with the psychiatrist and the treatment team to ensure appropriate treatment and discharge planning. Responsibilities include completing assessments, facilitating treatment planning, leading individual and group therapy sessions, and meeting with patients individually. Preference is given to candidates who hold TF‑CBT certification or possess experience working with youth who have experienced complex trauma; experience with individuals who have a substance use disorder is also preferred. Job Duties Individual, group, and family therapies Psychosocial assessments and treatment planning Child and Family team meeting facilitation Job Requirements Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university. License: State licensed in social work or a related clinical mental health field; LCSW preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family, individual, group, and family therapy, case management, and crisis intervention. Trauma‑Focused CBT and DBT experience is preferred. Additional Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Location 898 E. Main Street, Greenwood, IN 46143 Work Hours Full‑time Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility to accommodate family therapy sessions.
