As a Security Officer Full Time Electronic Tour Patrol in Ashburn, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a public school community. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and the public by carrying out security-related procedures, school-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting school administrators and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate security-related observations to designated school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
