Step into a rewarding school-based physical therapy role during the 2026-2027 academic year in the vibrant Olympia area. Serve a diverse K-12 student population across the district, working full time (37.5 hours per week) from September 9, 2026, to June 16, 2027. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference, providing essential support to students in a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Washington State physical therapy license, or willingness to obtain before start date.
• Successful fingerprinting through OSPI, or readiness to complete this requirement.
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Strong interdisciplinary communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Passion for supporting the educational and developmental goals of students across a range of age groups and abilities.
• Comfortable traveling between district sites (position is fully onsite; no virtual options available).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25-30 students district-wide, adapting interventions for individual student needs.
• Participate in IEP development and implementation in collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff.
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and re-evaluations in accordance with district and legal guidelines.
• Document progress and therapy sessions accurately, maintaining student confidentiality.
• Educate and consult with staff and families to maximize student access to educational opportunities.
