Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Role Overview: The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients, serving as a primary or accountable nurse to ensure patient safety. Key Responsibilities: Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management, safely administer medications following policies, support resource management, and adhere to practice standards and regulations. Participate in shared governance, peer reviews, and implement evidence-based practices. Foster a supportive environment for new staff, students, and clinical observers while engaging in ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Skills: Must be a compassionate, patient-centered RN with a commitment to clinical excellence, adaptable to a dynamic environment, and a team-oriented communicator. Uphold ethical standards, including the Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies, demonstrating responsibility and flexibility. Education & Licensure: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program; preferred BSN and prior clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care. Must hold a valid New York State RN license; CCRN or additional certifications are advantageous. Work Environment & Patient Demographics: Work involves patient care areas and office settings, requiring mobility and PPE use in a fast-paced, interruptive environment. Serves patients of all ages.
