Civil Engineer

Job Description Job Description We're hiring! Mericle Construction, Inc. is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer with strong proficiency in Civil 3D/CAD to join our Land Development team. This role involves assisting in the planning and design of land development projects, with a focus on effective coordination among project stakeholders throughout the process. Mericle Construction, Inc. is the largest, full-service developer of industrial, office, flex, and medical space along Pennsylvania’s I-81 Corridor. Mericle has developed more than 100 buildings in the Scranton/Pittston/Wilkes -Barre/Hazleton area. The Mericle team includes licensed architects, land planners, professional engineers, surveyors, licensed electricians, plumbers, carpenters, leasing and marketing professionals, property managers, and more. Responsibilities: Prepare site layout, grading, drainage, and utility drawings Inspect and report erosion control measures for active projects Assist with land development plans, drainage calculations, and NPDES submissions Continue developing proficiency in Civil 3D Qualifications: 6+ months experience in civil engineering or related field Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar discipline Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3 What We Offer: Comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being. 13 paid holidays annually.
