Construction Equipment TechnicianExpress Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is currently seeking Construction Equipment Technicians for a local construction equipment supply company.Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime Possible) Pay: $32-$38/HR BOEPosition OverviewWe are seeking dependable and mechanically skilled Equipment Technicians to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of construction equipment. This role involves daily inspections, troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical systems, and rebuilding major components. Candidates must be able to lift heavy items, work safely, and bring a solid set of personal tools. All experience levels are welcome—from entry-level to senior technicians.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily maintenance and inspections on construction equipmentTear down and reassemble major components (engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, etc.)Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, including leaks, pressure issues, and cylinder problemsTroubleshoot electrical systems, wiring issues, sensors, and fault codesMaintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts usedFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaCommunicate equipment status and repair needs to supervisorsQualificationsMechanical aptitude with experience in equipment, diesel, or heavy machinery repairAbility to read and interpret technical manuals and schematicsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyExperience with hydraulic and electrical troubleshootingAbility to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding workMust have own tools (more than a basic handheld set)RequirementsClean drug screenClean background checkOpen to entry-level, mid-level, and senior techniciansIf you feel this would be the position for you, please apply today!
