About the Role

Forrest Solutions is seeking a polished, professional, and service-oriented Floor Host to support our confidential professional services client in Tampa, FL. The Floor Host is the go-to person on the office floor, responsible for creating an outstanding hospitality-based experience for employees, guests, and visitors.

This highly visible role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, client-centric environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and dedicated to delivering a premium level of service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Hospitality & Guest Engagement

• Act as the primary point of contact on assigned office floors, assisting guests, employees, and visitors with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Provide visible support throughout the day, responding promptly to questions and connecting guests to the right resources.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of office operations to deliver efficient, first-point-of-contact resolution.
• Provide timely and knowledgeable assistance in person, by phone, and via email.

Meeting & Workspace Management

• Support the firm's hoteling and mobile workspace culture by assisting guests and employees with booking and using workspaces.
• Optimize the use of meeting and collaboration spaces, ensuring reserved rooms are actively used and reclaiming unused spaces as appropriate.
• Provide real-time support for meetings, greeting attendees, ensuring AV and room setups are functioning, and resetting rooms after use.
• Communicate with meeting organizers to verify requirements (lighting, supplies, AV equipment, temperature, etc.) before meetings.
• Work closely with facilities, IT, and catering teams to ensure spaces are properly equipped and maintained.

Facility & Operational Excellence

• Maintain the appearance and functionality of office floors, reporting maintenance issues (e.g., furniture, carpet, or lighting) promptly.
• Ensure meeting spaces remain organized and clean throughout the day.
• Track room occupancy and meeting attendance, including monitoring no-shows and participant counts.
• Return and secure all additional equipment after meetings or events.
• Open and close assigned work areas at scheduled times, ensuring readiness for daily operations.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and high level of communication with all operational departments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in hospitality, event coordination, customer service, or a related field (e.g., hotel, corporate services, or professional environment preferred).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and AV/conference room technology.
• Customer Service Excellence: Client-first mentality with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Professionalism: Confident, polished, and capable of navigating interactions across all professional levels.
• Adaptability: Able to manage multiple priorities and remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced office environment.
