If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.Job Summary:Support laboratory operations by assisting with routine laboratory procedures, specimen processing, storage, and retrieval activities. This role helps maintain a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment while providing administrative and technical support to laboratory staff. Schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)What You'll Be Doing:Maintain laboratory glassware by washing, rinsing, drying, distributing, and storing materialsClean and disinfect laboratory work areas, equipment, and workbenches to support compliance and safety standardsPrepare and sterilize laboratory supplies, equipment, and other materials for operational readinessLabel tubes and prepare specimens for laboratory workflowsFacilitate post-analysis storage, sample banking, and specimen retrieval activitiesAssist with laboratory equipment maintenance and routine operational checksSupport inventory management and general organization of laboratory workstationsFollow safety, quality, regulatory, and 6S requirements while participating in ongoing training and developmentWhat We Are Looking For:High School Diploma or equivalent. (Some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require an Associate Degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution)6 months of relevant work experience in a regulated laboratory preferredBasic knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handlingBasic knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and terminologyOther equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflowAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkersBasic computer skills with strong attention to detail and organizational abilitiesUnderstanding of sterilization, decontamination procedures, and hazardous waste managementKnowledge of safe exposure practices related to chemicals and blood-borne pathogensPhysical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
