Med Surg RN Position

This is a Medical Surgical RN position on the night shift. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including some weekends. The unit has a total of 39 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. The position will involve caring for patients who require medical management and basic telemetry monitoring. Experience in telemetry is beneficial but not required. ACLS certification is mandatory for all Med Surg travelers. Candidates must be willing to float to other Med Surg units within their scope of practice. Scrub colors are royal blue and not provided. The charting system used is Meditech, and the medication system is McKesson. Please be aware that the facility may have a cancellation policy. The facility will occasionally call off one shift for every four weeks worked, though this is rare.
